Solo Private Practice Therapy

Hi there
My name is Bailey. I provide a chill, nonjudgmental space where you can begin to identify the beliefs and patterns that have kept you from walking a path that’s more aligned with your core self. I think of therapy as a collaborative process, so I won’t be telling you what I think you “should” do. Instead, I’ll grab a metaphorical shovel so we can dig up the gems of inner knowing that already exist within you.
About me
My heart and soul are aligned with this work - I find it deeply meaningful to walk alongside fellow humans and act as a guiding light in their process of self-discovery. Clinically, I’m an LCSW trained in EMDR and sex therapy. I also weave IFS and somatic (body-based) work into my sessions frequently and use a strengths-based approach. My practice is more aligned with depth psychotherapy, meaning that I provide a space where we can learn more about your inner world by exploring your emotions, thoughts, and desires. We will also explore any recurring patterns that may be rooted in unconscious beliefs and/or unresolved trauma. By bringing unconscious material into the conscious light, you will develop greater self-awareness that leads to deeper healing and personal growth. Outside of my clinical training, I am a student of ancient Hellenistic astrology, tarot, and nature. I have found these teachings to be beneficial tools of enlightenment and I am happy to incorporate them upon request.
I do not accept insurance, as it often complicates and adds stress to the therapeutic environment. However, I do accept HSA and will provide a superbill (essentially a receipt for your therapy session that you submit to insurance for reimbursement) to those who are insured. I offer an income-based sliding scale as needed so that those who have more, pay more and those who have less, pay less. This way, we can create a network of community support that includes everyone.
[TLDR - I’ve got clinical tools and I’ve got tools I’ve gained from simply being a human on their own life journey. You’ve got tools too. Together, we can look at all the tools we have and see which ones work best for you. No insurance. Yes HSA. Yes superbill. Yes sliding scale as needed.]
In my spare time, you can catch me dancing around my house while using a cheese stick as a microphone, playing fetch with one of my cats while the other cat watches, spending time with my friends, or falling down a rabbit hole of the new thing I’m learning about this month. I also love to travel, be in nature, and create.
You are someone who is ready to start building a more compassionate, trusting, and empowered relationship with yourself. You may also be open to the idea that this is foundational work in the path towards collective liberation for all.
I am currently accepting new clients who are 21 and older. I identify as gay/queer in just about every way, so my space is very LGBTQIA+ affirming. I see people and the therapeutic process through an intersectional lens (i.e. I see you as a whole person responding to your personal, cultural, and societal environment.) and believe this is necessary in order to help you release guilt, shame, and fear that isn’t serving your highest good.

Finding the right therapist is sort of like dating - you have to find someone who just gets you. We might be a good fit if you’re looking for someone who is laid back, direct, and drops a swear word at least once per session. I’ll be kicking off my shoes and sitting criss-cross apple sauce in my chair - you’re welcome to do the same! If we’re going to dive into the depths of your psyche, we might as well be comfortable while doing so. If you think we’d be a good therapeutic match, please reach out! I’m happy to offer a free 15 minute consultation call to all potential new clients so we can feel out the vibe.
